This site is named after the nearby Marina and is located across the road in Berkley Island County Park.

Windsurfing is on the well protected Barnegat Bay and because of the fairly deep water, small swell and chop often form providing nice ramps for Bump & Jump sailing. During busy summer weekends you’ll be competing a little for space with the recent influx of jet-skiers. Also, be mindful of large boats out in the channel with headings from all different directions.

During the off-season however, Trixie’s offers some of the best all-around conditions in New Jersey when Nor’easters or strong thermals provide nice, clean rollers and long reaches across the bay.

Parking is basic with a grass/dirt area near the small launch beach.

For Trixie’s Landing, take Exit 80 off the Garden State Parkway. Follow Route 9 south for 6.6 miles and observe sign for Trixie’s Landing on your right. Turn left and follow the main road to the water (makes a few sharp turns). Parking is in the dirt lot, Berkeley Island County Park, across from Trixie’s.
